Renovation generally refers to updating, repairing, or restoring an existing home while preserving much of its underlying layout or character. Remodeling more often involves changing the structure, configuration, or function of spaces. In practice, residential projects can include both. A design-led firm can help define the scope, coordinate architectural decisions, and guide permitting and construction requirements before work begins.
