Look for a firm that can demonstrate relevant residential design experience and explain how it coordinates space planning, cabinetry, interiors, permitting, and construction. Review whether its design approach suits your home and priorities, then ask how consultants, contractors, municipal agencies, and material decisions will be managed. A cohesive process can reduce gaps between design intent and implementation.
