Compare each contractor’s relevant project experience, design capabilities, communication process, permitting support, and construction coordination. A design-led practice may be especially useful when a remodel involves structural changes, additions, interiors, cabinetry, or historical considerations. Review whether the team can guide the project from early concepts through construction rather than handling only one isolated trade.
