California construction permit costs may include application processing, plan review, inspection-related charges, and other jurisdiction- or project-specific fees. The total depends on the project scope, valuation methodology, building type, and municipality. Professional design, engineering, consultant, and permit procurement services are separate considerations and should be reviewed alongside the jurisdiction’s requirements.
