Look for experience with projects comparable to yours, clear communication, strong coordination, and the ability to work with architectural design, permitting, consultants, and construction teams. Review completed work for quality and consistency rather than relying only on photographs. Ask how the contractor handles design changes, documentation, scheduling, site coordination, and communication before signing an agreement.
