Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between custom and pre-designed house plans?

Pre-designed plans are developed in advance and may provide a starting framework, while custom plans are created around a specific property, lifestyle, aesthetic, and project brief. Custom design can coordinate architecture with interiors, cabinetry, built-ins, and sustainable systems. It also allows the design team to respond more directly to site conditions, municipal requirements, and the homeowner’s priorities.
