The most expensive part varies by the project’s scope, existing conditions, structural changes, level of customization, and selected finishes. In a luxury remodel, costs may be influenced by extensive design coordination, custom cabinetry or built-ins, specialized construction, permitting requirements, and the amount of work needed to integrate architecture and interiors. A thorough design process helps clarify priorities before construction decisions are made.
